HIMACHAL | THE LAND OF GOD

The day I visited Himachal for the first time I wanted to know about the lifestyle of people living there. Wanted to learn about their beliefs, major concerns they have towards life. People living there are termed as ‘ Himachali’ and say that this place is run by God themselves. They call it Devbhoomi. Yet, there are many questions and urban myths about Himachal today.

Nowadays it has a lot of urban population and it’s the second-fastest developing state in India. Isn’t that disturbing?

Himachal has its own feel, traditions to celebrate and culture to enlighten humans. Himachal is untouched and it pours a strong vibe into the drinks of holy plants. It is far away from the ethics of the modern world and is rather involved in the breath of heavenly ruined skins. Even the smoke of the Himalayas is the purest of all.

Reality is more believable than imagination

When I look at these pictures clicked by me during my expedition to Himachal, It feels like a dream, a beautiful story. But after a while, I feel I am there, there itself on the other side. Standing at the edge of that highest cliff, opening my eyes, watching and accepting the beauty of the gray sea, shimmer in the purple sky and the yellow half moon. It suddenly moves the ecstasy in my blood. Like an eagle in the air, I enjoyed watching the creator in everything from above the sky. And this is it!

Scenic Parvati Valley

A meadow at 2960m, where Shiva is said to have meditated for 3000 years,  Parvati valley is situated in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh. It leads to a village situated at a height of 7,874ft. Tosh, the word conjures up the images of the magnificent mountains, scenic beauty, cool breeze, friendly people ravishing food and an amazing experience!

Mysterious Prashar lake

It is located in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh at a height of 2730 m above sea level. The depth of this lake has not been found yet.The oval-shaped lake looks like a painting which is impossible to ignore. The lake has many stories attached to it. You visit the place and you will hear interesting stories by the localities.

 Steep Hatu Peak

It located at an elevation of 3400 m/12000 ft above sea level and is the highest summit in Shimla/Narkanda region of Himachal Pradesh. The steep road towards the top of the mountain and a rocky terrain makes it adventurous. The peak is surrounded by dense woods.

The paradise I kept searching.

‘DOPE’ it’s where the real illusion is happening. You don’t have to look in mirrors here. Instead, you’re either focused on the setting around you, or on what you are doing, like climbing, setting up a tent, or gardening. On the other hand, you feel so comfortable in your own skin, you experience your own quiet peace and strength, you sense the inner you that is the true you.

The mask you present to the outer world is irrelevant at a time and put in its proper place.

At last, I felt n found what we have here in Himachal is rare to feel and find anywhere else.

There is a piece of peace to rejoice.
